Notes from puppy owners and other Jubilee dogs living in great homes !!!
So I guess it's safe to say you've made a love connection. Tony and Foster absolutely adore each other.  At first Faith wasn't too keen on the baby, but
she's come around and playing and tugging the rope is a common game between the two of them. I've gone out of my way to keep Faith top dog and now
she seems to really love him.
He's smart, he's good in his kennel, has made NO mistakes in the house so far (of course we watch him like a hawk) and aside from wanting to put
everything in his mouth all the time, is a really exceptionally well-behaved puppy for 10 weeks. He eats well, has had a good digestive system with no
issues at all, likes his rawhide chewies and especially Faith's stuffed sheep (now his.) Overall he's an unusually good puppy. Smart, too.
So we're grateful you've given us such a great creature and we know things will continue to be great. That is until he finds a wayward shoe on the floor!
Anyway, thanks again for our Foster. We could not be any happier with him. And I think he feels the same about us.
Margaret, CA- owner of Foster
Thought I would give you quick update on the Pup.  He knew his name within two days.  He has settled in very well.  He is smart and not stubborn like
Kimba.  My Wife takes him everywhere.  My kid loves him except when he tries to heard him and nips.  He likes the water and is not afraid of the
ocean.  He is just about house broken.  He has not eaten our bird, in fact, I don't think he even pays attention to him (unlike a lab).  I believe this dog
will be easy to train.  I look forward to working with him.
Caston, CA - owner of Ranger

Thought you would like to see some pics of Ranger. He is becoming an excellent frisbee dog.  I work with him every night.
We have him trained to do a number of tricks now.  He loves the beach and the water. Enjoy.
Regards, Caston

Hi Erica! Just wanted to let you know that Mr. Christian is doing an amazing job here, he loves the boys and as you can see they think hes the best!
Thank you so much for introducing us! I haven't seen a dog become a part of the family so fast in my life. He is super gentle with the boys and loves
hanging out with me, which means hes obviously an excellent judge of character! He is the perfect jogging buddy because he loves to explore and never
gets tired, Im the weak link there. When we come home from our morning run the first thing he does is run to the boys room and make sure EACH
boy is still in bed! If someone is gone he lets me know right away! You probably already know it but he is a VERY smart dog. He rules! Ill let you go but
here are some pics, he looks bored but I think he loves the attention! Thanks again!
Frank, CA - owner of Christian
Hi Erica, I just wanted to send you a little update on moxie. She is doing great!! We have been crate training her & she loves it ... she goes right in &
chews on her toys or falls asleep. She has tons of energy & just loves to play. She also loves to bite but we're working on that :) she is also really fast!
She runs around the yard jumping over steps & tumbling around on the grass. She's just adorable & we love her so much. She's a great eater & she's
really healthy. We can't wait to take her to the beach & the park after she's had her last shot! She is getting so big already ... the vet told us she's
going to be a big girl :) she's just the sweetest dog. Thank you so much for our new little family member. We love her & can't imagine life without her.

Hi Erica!!!!  Just wanted to let you know that Clarke competed in his first official Ultimate Air Dog Competition this yesterday and today!  He had a
blast and everyone loved him......We even made it onto the 6:00pm evening news here in the sports segment!    I have never in all the time that Clarke
has been with me seen him act like he was there.....this dog never makes a sound and he was so into it after his first jump that he was going nuts
barking his head of while waiting for his next jump cause he wanted to get back out there soooo bad....it was hillarious to see him so excited!  He got a
ton of press since he was the only aussie there competing.  Most of the other dogs were labs and everyone just kept talking about how gorgeous he was.
Milton, the owner of Ultimate Air Dogs, kept saying over the speaker everytime it was our turn to jump how much he loved Clarke and that he was a
great jumper and we should expect bigger jumps from him in the future.  Clarke loved it and his jumps were bigger when the crowd really got into it
and cheered really loud.  Anyways, Clarke should also be in a local magazine called Family Dog Digest and there was another professional
photographer there that took his picture and I gave her my card so hopefully she will send me a copy of his picture and I'll get a copy to you!  Here are
two pictures that a friend of mine took, kind of blurry but at least you can still see him in action!  Oh I guess I was almost forgeting to tell you the
most important part!......Clarke made it into the finals with his longest jump being 17 feet 6 inches which put him in fourth place!!!!  Awesome for his
first competitive jump!  Talk to you soon!
Amy, VA - owner of Clarke
Hi Erica,  We got home safe with no "accidents" during the nearly 2 hour drive. You have done a great job raising Jake.  He appears to be very nearly
house trained [no accidents so far] and he walks very well on leash already. So far no signs of stress from separation from his mother or litter mates.
He is sleeping here under the table right now using my feet as a pillow.  ;-)Jake was big hit at Pet Smart when we stopped by for a couple of hard rubber
chew toys and he was also a big hit at the local park where he took his evening walk. We are very much smitten with him and be assured that he will
have a loving home here with us.I will get you some pictures so you can see how much he is growing. Take care and thank you so much.
Dean and Cindy, CA - owner of Jake
Hi Erica,
Honey and Sugar have become the most delightful grown up girls and the best of friends with one another.  They're mindful and playful and great with
all people and other dogs.  My girlfriend and I spend a lot of time with them, and they have pretty much full access to all of our home and property,
though we've trained them to respect "off limits."  We're so grateful that you have produced such a wonderful Aussie stock.  I've had 6 of them now
over almost 40 years, and though I've loved and cared for them all just as much, these two are certainly very special...it may be because I know more
about the breed and have developed better training practices too.  But I won't sell these two short...they're amazing!!!
All the best,
Brant and Pat, CA - owners of Sugar & Honey
Hi Erica, We are the ones who also had a puppy from Sandra...Sage is now 3 1/2.  I just wanted to write you a little note to let you know Hunter (born
10-27-07 Happy Birthday!) is doing fine and we could not love him more!  We adore both our darling dogs and we are so happy with them both.  They
delight us every day!  We hope all is well with you and your family.  Please give our best to Sandra.
Take Care,
Deb & William, CA - owner of Hunter (right)
Rose and I went to the dog beach on Coronado this morning.  It was gorgeous!  Then she was mainly a good girl watching me play tennis but didn't like
the golf carts that passed her by.  Luckily there were some people watching the play that sat with her.  Saying hello to Rose is a committment, she is
quite a snuggler....then home for a nap!  Rose and I did a puppy class and a sport class which was an intro to agility.  She really likes the teeter totter
and tunnel.  Your pics of those are great!  In the new year I plan to start again, for fun and exercise- don't know about competition.
Cathy, CA - owner of Rose
Hi Erica, I thought you might enjoy some recent photos [taken today] as Jake gets close to 8 months old. He is happy, healthy and we are having a
great time with him. He was 57 pounds a month ago when he was last at the vet. Take care.  I hope you and you family are well this holiday season.
Best, Dean & Cindy, CA - owner of Jake (update)
Hi Erica, I want to give you an update on Clay he is doing well and adjusting to his new surroundings.  He is staying active with me and is quite the
frisbee dog!  Thank you for letting Clay be a part of my family.  I will send more pictures soon.
Lorraine, CA - owner of Clayton
Erica, I cannot begin to tell you what a sweet addition Lily has been to my home.  She is so smart and learning the rules of the house, which are few,
quickly.  In fact, she already acts like she owns the place.  She is my constant companion and as such, when I leave her alone for any time over 20
minutes, she parks herself at the front window on high alert.  Thanks.
Wendelin, CA - new owner of Lily
Hi Erica,  Hiccup (Sheldon) is still sooooo happy.  He plays for hours with the kids during the day fetching the kong, chasing them, rolling on the
ground with them etc.  He couldn't be more ideal.  We feel blessed.
Millie, CA - new owner of Sheldon (Hiccup)

(update 7/4/10) From Sam, ben and hiccup!!! Hiccup is doing really well. He is now completely comfortable with the track life, horses etc. He goes there
every morning and is very well behaved. Then he comes home and the boys play tag with him around the garden, or throw his toys for him. (the
neighbours must love that time of day!!!) He seems content when we leave him alone at home too. He even joined in in the parade this weekend!! Hope
all is well. We went to see marmaduke. They gave hiccups dad a womans voice and character.....my boys were a little thrown by that!!!!  Millie
Hi Erica, We are loving our new baby boy and he is becoming a HUGE part of our little family! We are stopped every time we walk him because people
think he is such a beautiful dog... we think so! He LOVES other dogs and people (especially kids)... but we are still searching for a playmate that has an
energy level like his! He has continued to be pretty "vocal", but we think it is pretty cute. He is amazingly smart and already knows quite a few "tricks"
(we have been clicker training, which he LOVES). He has been pretty good with vet visits. He is growing like a weed and inhales his food!  Thank you
again for such a wonderful addition to our family! We have had so much fun with Chance and love him to death. We loved seeing the pictures of his
brothers and sisters with their families and what they were named. We have also enjoyed your updates on Ashton... what a beautiful puppy he is! I am
including a few photos of us with Chance for you... hope you enjoy!
All the best,
Taylor and Allison, CA - owner of Chance
Hi Erica, Wanted to check in with you and give you an update on Saada.  She is doing really well and totally crate and potty trained (well, we haven't had
an accidents in a while!).  We are dog sitting my brother's Aussie, which is now 71 lbs, and they are best friends.  They play until she comes and sits
between my legs and panting.   I'm also very happy to say that she has now slept three times through the night without waking me to let me know she
needs to go to the bathroom...very happy to say!  We are very happy with our baby and consider ourselves blessed; she is a smart and very loving little
girl.  We continuously get complements on how beautiful she is and especially well mannered.
Regards,
Nolan & Katie, CA - owner of Saada
Erica: Olivia has exceeded all our expectations today!  She had a perfect trip home - was so good in the car.  Skylar, our niece, met us at home and
helped introduce Olivia to her new surroundings.  She was very curious about her house and new yard.  Took her to the "park" to visit all the dogs.  She
was a little spooked at first, but I kept her on leash and by the time we left, she seemed at ease with the whole situation.  We're excited about the days
ahead! Thanks again for the opportunity of having this dog in our lives.  We love her so much already!
Olivia is doing awesome and acts like she has been here for a month.  We think she adopted us instead of the other way around.  She is so sweet and
loving.  She loves Skylar to death, but gave the 3 of us equal time.  She is very attentive to Susan too.  She already loves her new bed and slept in it
through the night (much of it upside down!).  She is very comfortable.  She even hung out in my office for a little while yesterday and loved all the
people.  She seems to have no depression or separation anxiety, so that is great.  She obviously came from a loving environment.  I knew from your
website photos!    Bob and Susan, CA - new owners of Olivia
Update 10/12/10

Hello Erica - Just thought I would drop an email about Olivia.  What a great dog!  She is amazing and such an Aussie through and through.  She plays
like a cat and runs like a deer.  She is the kindest, sweetest and most mellow dog.  We just plugged her into the hole Hobie left, and we haven't missed a
beat.  She is living an incredible life.  You wouldn't believe the things she does and the places she goes. She loves all people and all dogs.  She has really
turned into a social butterfly.  She especially likes and is very kind to small dogs.  She is so adaptable and loving.  She is a true gift for which I am very
thankful.  It is hard to believe how she has accepted us and her new life.  I can take her anywhere (and do!).  Thank you again for such a wonderful gift.
I cannot believe our luck.  I try to recommend your dogs whenever I can.  I like the Moden's dogs too - they are all so smart, but Olivia is such an easy
dog and she loves us to death.  We are so lucky!  Thank you again.

Hi Erica, My husband Craig & I purchased our dog from you two years ago (her birthday was yesterday!) & I just wanted to send you a photo of her &
tell you thanks again! Moxie is the best dog in the entire world & our family just wouldn't be the same without her. Our daughter (who is one now) just
loves her to death & Moxie is so sweet & gentle with her, we are so thankful that the two of them will grow up together.
Thanks again. We love our aussie!!  (Here she is on our daily walk to the beach. She's the best!)

Hi Erica,Hope this email finds you well! We just celebrated Chance's first birthday, and what a year it was! He started off quite accident prone- but what
a trooper he was! He healed himself (broken knee) completely without surgery and is now the roughest, fastest little boy you've ever seen! He LOVES
all dogs and people and is a big lovie with Taylor and I. He loves going to the park where we play fetch with his favorite "bouncy ball" and his all time
favorite toy the Frisbee, which he is great at since he is quite the jumper! We just took him to the local dog beach for the first time last week and he
had a ball! He jumped right in the waves and ran around with the other dogs for hours. He has also turned into a great watchdog and is always
monitoring the goings on through the windows in the front of the house. We cannot believe what a smart dog he is! He knows more tricks than we can
count and just won the dog talent contest at our local Dog Day in the park (he was even in the newspaper)! Chance has also turned into a beautiful adult
Aussie. Every time we take him anywhere we are constantly stopped by peopling asking what kind of dog he is and remarking how pretty his colors and
eyes are. We feel so blessed to have gotten such a wonderful dog! His personality is so fun and lively and also very sweet. He is quite a spoiled little boy
since he is our "only child" for now. We love our little guy so much and can't imagine life without him anymore. Thanks so much for sharing such a
wonderful joy with us!
All the best, Taylor and Allison  - owners of Chance (update)
Hi Barbara, I just wanted to let you know how much we love Wylie. He had a great trip home and his 1st night was painless. He slept through the night
with minimal interruptions!  Not one wimper.  He has made best friends with our other Aussie and we starting to play fetch. He is sooo smart. Thank
you so much for everything.

Hi Barbara, Just wanted to touch base and let you know that Kenzie is doing really well.  In three short weeks she has brought so much joy and love to
our home.  Our home once again feels complete.  Kenzie is thriving and is a very quick learner.  We have been working privately with Dan
(Performance Dog Training) and Kenzie starts her puppy school on April 17.  We had our vet visit yesterday and she is 22lbs.  That little girl would eat
all day if we let her. She loves her food and treats. I have attached a few photos of her.  She has a crazy ear that sticks up when she runs around.  She is
very silly yet very very sweet and loving at the same time.  Thank you so much for the joy you have brought to our lives.  She has made her place in our
home and our hearts. Best to you.
Lori, CA - owners of Kenzie
Hi Erica:  It is difficult for me to put into words just how much it has meant to us to have Marvin.  He is the best dog we could ever hope for - so
loving, good and easy for us to take care of at our ages.  Just the PERFECT DOG.  He is pretty much an inside dog and really doesn't care about being
outside alone.  He would rather be inside with us (where the food is). Anyway, thank you so much for allowing us to have him and be assured he will have
the best food, best home , etc. we can provide.
Ed & Carole, CA - owners of Marvin
Update 6/3/11
Here is an update on Marv and all that has happened in my life in the past few weeks.  On Sunday Carole had a bad fall and fractured her sacrum.  This
resulted in 5 days at St Joseph's Hospital and now at Helthcare and Rehab center.  There is no surgery required but it is painful and takes several weeks
of therapy to recover. So it has just been Marv and me. I really don't know what I would do without him. We walk about three times a day for a total of
about a mile and a half which has resulted in l2 pounds loss for me.  I so.   His appetite is great, his health is great and he seems happy and content to do
just what Marv wants to do - sleep. This is the first time I have been alone in the 56 years Carole and I have been married.  He is my constant
companion and salvation.  My best regards to you and your family.    Ed
Hi Barbara and Erica,
It has been awhile since I have been able to email you and keep you updated on Berkeley.  I also wanted share some pictures of Berkeley now that he is
almost 6 months old which I have attached.  He is doing really well and we love having him in our life.  Berkeley is currently attending obedience
training class on Monday nights and he is very smart and a fast learner.  The trainer has even commented on how well he is doing.  My husband wants to
begin him on the agility training classes next.  Berkeley enjoys going on daily jogs and walks with my husband and I and his weekly visit to our local dog
park, as well as playing with my parents 5 year old golden retriever and my friend’s border collie.  This summer he will be going camping and to the
beach a lot near Santa Cruz.  Berkeley pretty much goes with us everywhere including swinging with us on the hammock in our backyard.  He is
beginning to become our protector of the house and he enjoys herding our two cats in from outside.  Berkeley is a very good dog and easy to train.  We
are very grateful to have such a wonderful dog.  I will be in touch again.
Kristina
Hello Erica,
Whizkey has turned out to be a water dog, a snow dog, a mud dog, and more. :-) He's a riot. So smart. My stepfather has introduced him, carefully, to
running his steer down the chutes. More of that this summer. Meanwhile, I can't keep him out of the lake. He's a joy. Thank you for him. I hope you,
your family and all your critters are well and happy.
Best,
Terresa & David Zimmerman
...and Whizkey too.
Erica,
l wanted to send you at least one of Pebbles now that she is over a year old. What a wonderful dog she is for us! She has it all beauty, brains and
personality galore!!We almost always get comments on her beautiful blue eyes when we take her out and you know it is a good sign when the dog trainer
(who has probably trained hundreds of dogs) wants to know about getting one just like yours!!! :).  Erica you should be very proud of the job you doing
breeding the best aspects of the Australian shepherd.  Pebbles is active but not at all hyper and loves to play but does just fine relaxing with the family.
She looks like her mom Fiona (actually quite a bit like her grandma Taya I think from the pictures) and has the fun loving personality of her dad Clive.
She has done a marvelous job in the obedience, dance, and now basic agility classes we have taken her to.  I wish I knew how to show her in confirmation
because I think she would do great. (I recognize that I may be biased but I do think she would do well :)
Teresa, CA- owner of Pebbles
Hi, Erica!  Is life any quieter without all those pups? Do you miss them dearly?
Hope you're doing well! Finn is doing great and his dog walker said that she had never seen a puppy potty trained so early. Needless to say, Becky and I
were brimming with pride when we heard that!!
We've had a great week, going to the park at least 2-3 times a day to run around and lately working more on walking on his leash at the park and our
neighborhood.  He is quite popular at the park - some of the 6:30 am regulars know him by name.  Whenever we are at the park and little kids are
nearby, he hears their voices  and perks up and then just sits quietly and watches them play, we think he misses your kids!  He has been really good with
the ones that come up to him and a little girl in the neighborhood even started to cry when she had to say goodbye to him. My favorite was a little kid
who said, "Wow, he looks like he had different colors of paint splashed on him!"  On Friday he went to his first restaurant and got to sit on a patio
overlooking the ocean in Laguna and he was literally the star of the place.  He is going to get quite the ego after being told over and over what a
good-locking dog he is and how pretty his eyes are!  He's been doing pretty well with the potty training with just a few accidents.  He still gets the
"crazies" once or twice a day and the last few days has had an episode or two of lots of biting (legs, hands, jeans)  which we're trying to figure out (and
correct).  His favorite toy is still a water bottle and his favorite treat is still ice cubes, so low maintenance! :)
Hope you are doing well and that all the little guys are happy in their new homes!
Katie and Becky, CA - owners of Finnegan Blue
Hi Erica,

Hope all is well and that the show was great for you!
We arrived safely home Sarurday night and have been enjoying our little one since. We decided to name her Sadie. She was so good on the drive up and
slept most of the way. She is such a love and we just adore her. Sadie is adjusting well along with our dog Toby. My folks were surprised at how well
behaved she is and how cuddly too. The dogs are getting along well together. Toby stares at her wondering where she came from. He is very patient with
her at just lets her be goofy as she runs in the grass. Sadie seems to enjoy a tall patch we have by our garden. She has been eating well and only had one
accident in the house but I think that was due to my step dad not opening the door in time. She's slept in her crate each night and wakes up at 4 am to
go out. Getting her back in is a challenge because then she's ready to play and when we put her in the crate again she starts whining. She eventually
cries herself to sleep for a bit.
Thank you so much for a beautiful dog. She is such a joy!
Jen, CA - owner of Sadie
